This study analyzes the performance of the Deep Blue Proflo centrifugal pump used for crude oil transfer from the Gathering Station (GS) to the Main Gathering Station (MGS) at PT Pertamina EP Sangatta Field. Primary data were obtained through field measurements of suction–discharge pressure, actual flow rate, and operating conditions, while secondary data such as design specifications and manufacturer performance curves were used as references. The analysis included calculations of total head, system headloss, Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH), and evaluation of the pump’s operating point. The results show that the actual flow rate of the pump reaches only 23–25 m³/h, significantly lower than the design capacity of 70 m³/h. The actual head of 64–66 m is almost entirely consumed by the system headloss of 63 m, causing the pump to operate far from its Best Efficiency Point (BEP). Although the NPSHa remains higher than the NPSHr—indicating no cavitation—the pump performance is not optimal due to insufficient head capacity and possible internal component degradation. It is concluded that the pump cannot meet system requirements under current conditions. Redesign or modification to increase head capacity, comprehensive overhaul of internal components, and systematic evaluation of pipeline headloss are recommended to improve operational performance.
